A solicitor’s time for the Form P2 can run to £1,240. With Wren it is part of £19.99 a month, and it takes about an hour for most forms rather than a day or more.

Common questions
What is the difference between pension sharing and attachment?
Sharing (Form P1) transfers part of the pension to the other party. Attachment (Form P2) directs the scheme to pay part of the member's benefits to the other party when they are paid.
Can the pension scheme object to an agreed attachment order?
Yes. The order is not made until 21 days pass without objection, or the court considers any objection.
Do I need one P2 for each pension?
Yes. The rules require one annex for each arrangement.
